Let me introduce myself, my name is ALLARD BRITTON.
This is a brief introduction to myself and my agency.
Before embarking on a career as an entertainments agent I was initially influenced by my father’s Folk Club in Carnaby Street, London, with such artists as Elkie Brookes, Ralph McTell, Gerry Rafferty, Richard Digence, Barbara Dixon and Jasper Carrot.
As a professional musician I formed my own band ‘Hot Stuff’ in 1976 and for two years worked extensively in Park Lane hotels, such as The Dorchester, The Hilton and Grosvenor House.
In 1978 we appeared on ITV’s “New Faces” and a year later moved onto the cabaret circuit working alongside such names as the late great Tommy Cooper, Joe Brown, Joe Longthorne, Ray McVay and such artists.
In 1981 whilst working for EMI on the UK Club Circuit I was signed to a record contract with Ariola and released three singles, which had chart success throughout Europe and various countries.
I was more recently involved with supplying entertainment for the Vodafone Company Christmas party at Earls Court. Notable names on the bill included Ronan Keating, The Corrs, Spandau Ballet and Katrina and the Waves. Twelve thousand people were in attendance. I also supplied artists for The Walt Disney Company Christmas pary at the Natural History Museum.
With extensive experience in the field of music and entertainment I have successfully co-ordinated Royal Entertainments into a highly respected agency, supplying all types of live entertainment and services.
